We want to ensure that your child’s experience with their host is happy and enjoyable. At the same time we ensure that your child’s welfare and safety is our priority.
If your child is unable to go home during half term, exeat or leave-out weekends, they will need to stay with a host family in the UK. Careful consideration is given when selecting a host family for your child and we are sensitive to their individual needs.
Our host families are all experienced in caring for children who live away from their home country. They are all selected for their kind, thoughtful and supportive attitude.
All our host families have been chosen because they are interested in the welfare of your child. Many have already had experience of looking after children whose parents are based abroad.
We try wherever possible to ensure that children return to the same family throughout their school careers and we regularly visit our hosts' homes and carry out inspections to ensure that high standards are being met.
All our host families have been carefully selected and interviewed and have been checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service. (DBS)
Our hosts are looking forward to welcoming your child into their homes as part of an extended family.
Our host families are all selected for their kind, thoughtful and supportive attitude.
We recognise the importance of working together to build strong relationships between all involved.
